Salams is a large Muslim marriage and friendship app owned by Match Group, the company behind Tinder and Hinge — Match Group names it as one of its own brands in its investor releases. Somali Marriage is small, independent, and built only for the Somali diaspora, where Premium opens the chat, the same for sisters and brothers. Both are halal-intentioned; the real differences are ownership, scale, and whether the platform is Somali-specific.
